SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- Dick Van Dyke is the headliner at this year’s Salt Lake Comic Con, but up until Friday morning it was still uncertain how much we would actually get to see of him.
Thursday, the 91-year-old canceled his Panel and Photo Ops, but according to officials at comic con, on Friday he “Came into the beautiful place called Salt Lake City and changed his mind”.
Hundreds of people stood in line to get his autograph and even more attended his panel where he talked about his role in the upcoming Mary Poppins sequel. He even sang “Happy Birthday” to his wife on stage.
Salt Lake Comic Con continues through Sunday.
