Thomas Geboy is our morning meteorologist here at ABC 4.
Growing up, Thomas was a military kid which saw a couple of moves before ending up along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Thomas’ interest in weather started young by tracking hurricanes on pen and paper with his grandmother as a kid. After seeing the firsthand impact of Hurricane Katrina, he decided he wanted to pursue a career in weather.
Thomas is a very proud Mississippi State Bulldog with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in meteorology. During his time at MSU Thomas also played on the club ice hockey team.
Along the way Thomas has had stops in Denver at WeatherNation, WTVY in Dothan, AL, and most recently he was one of the morning meteorologists in Mobile, AL at WKRG. At WKRG, Thomas in 2018 won the AP Award for the state’s best weathercaster in a big market. He also holds a Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association.
In his spare time Thomas likes to spend time with his wife and dog. Thomas is also a very big sports fan and is always up for a round of golf!
