A born Cajun and South Louisiana native, Scott Lewis serves as the Digital Director for ABC4.com.
A native of Jennings, La., he began a 22-year radio career at the age of 15, eventually working in almost every major commercial radio format just because he hung around long enough. After graduating from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette (go Ragin’ Cajuns!) in 2002, he began his journalism career in 2004 in newspaper in his hometown. He eventually moved into news radio before leaving newspaper to helm a number of radio station website blogs.
In addition to working in digital, print, radio, and television in Louisiana, Texas, and Utah, he also worked as an associate producer and interview subject on the five-part documentary “Murder in the Bayou,” which originally aired in September 2019 on Showtime.
He has been a digital content creator for Nexstar Media since November 2019, formerly at KLFY-TV in Lafayette, La. He plays guitar loudly and with precious little shame. He has a cat named Lloyd, who is infinitely cooler than your cat. He (Scott, not Lloyd) can be reached at slewis@abc4.com.
