Sarah Martin is a multi-media journalist and the Education Correspondent for the ABC 4 News team, and right now she’s filling in on the anchor desk for Good Morning Utah while Emily Clark spends some time with her newest baby.
Sarah graduated from BYU with a bachelors degree in broadcast journalism. While there, she worked as an anchor and reporter for KBYU’s "Eleven News at Noon." and received advanced instruction and experience including going to DC to cover the 2016 presidential election.
Before hopping on board at ABC 4, Sarah produced a documentary featuring four brothers who all served in WWII and the Korean war. She followed them all the way to Washington on board an Honor Flight and detailed their history and the adventures of 25 veterans in wheelchairs. She loved every second of it and plans to work on documentary film whenever possible.
Sarah was born and raised in Southern California but claims to be much better at skiing than surfing. She’s a devoted reader and in her spare time you can find her reading anything from science fiction to modern biographies. She’s also a big fan of her husband James, tacos, and mint desserts.
