Elizabeth Suggs joined the ABC4 family in late 2022 as a digital news reporter. She has a Master’s in Creative Writing from Swansea University, a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism from Utah Valley University.
She has previously worked as a digital reporter and desk assignment editor for Fox 13 News, a beat writer for the Sugar House Journal, and interned at Swansea Review, City Weekly and the UVU Review. News is the beating heart of the community, and she loves keeping it alive for both her and her readers.
One of her passion projects, and the very thing that took her to the United Kingdom for her Master’s, is a memoir/biography about her grandpa, Edward Price, an inventor of one of the first cordless microphones and the inventor of some of the first portable calculators. She hopes to have the book completed by next year.
Outside of her project and news, she is the growing author of several published fiction stories, two of which were in a podcast and poetry journal (she particularly loves to write horror!). She is also a book reviewer (EditingMee.com) for indie authors, and bookstagramer (@ElizabethSuggsAuthor) because she believes that she can make reading fun with her social media videos and posts.
When she’s not invested in the world of writing and news, she’s playing video and board games or making cookies with her mom and pets.
