Andrew Reeser reports on News4Utah every weekday on Midday at 11 a.m. and for the news at 4 and 5 p.m.
Andrew comes from South Carolina, where he worked as a reporter at the FOX affiliate in Greenville. Prior to that, Andrew worked as the evening anchor for the NBC affiliate in Macon, Georgia.
Andrew is excited to be back in the Beehive State. A BYU grad, Andrew cut his journalistic teeth here in Utah. He interned at CBS News in New York City, and helped produce content for the CBS Evening News.
Andrew grew up near beautiful Charleston, South Carolina, where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the beach. Andrew’s parents and siblings still live there. He has two nephews, Henry, Charlie and James, whom he adores.
Andrew has covered a wide variety of stories, including the Charleston church shooting in 2015, Hurricane Matthew in 2016, the 2016 wildfires that devastated regions in the south, the execution of a convicted killer in Georgia, as well as more lighthearted and human interest stories.
When he’s not working, you may find Andrew catching a movie (his favorite thing to do), hiking with his lab-retriever Rocky (you’ll see lots of Rocky on Andrew’s Facebook and Twitter pages), or spending quality time with friends and family.
Andrew loves telling your stories. Share yours on his Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages.
