About Adam:
Adam Carroll is a Meteorologist for Good Morning Utah and part of the ABC4 Utah Pinpoint Weather team and joined the ABC4 Utah team in November of 2011 as a Weather Producer in charge of making all the weather graphics for air and digital.
Adam has always wanted to be a television Meteorologist after growing up watching some of the legends that you may still find today on The Weather Channel. His love for the weather was further enhanced by the extreme weather events he lived through during a 4-year stint in Florida at a young age.
In high school, Adam was known as the school weather geek. He would predict whether the school would have a delayed start to the morning or if students should start getting excited for a potential snow day.
When Adam was a freshman in high school, he visited Utah for the first time and instantly fell in love with the mountains. He knew this is where he wanted to further advance his education so upon graduation he drove out with his father to attend The University of Utah. While at Utah, Adam received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. He also received a minor in Meteorology.
During his senior year of college, he interned at KUTV2 News in Salt Lake City and eventually received a job offer to be a Weather Producer upon graduation. From there, he eventually made the move to ABC4 under the same job title. Since 2011, Adam has been promoted numerous times within the department from a part-time fill-in to his current job title, Morning Meteorologist. All of this was possible by his further advancement in education by graduating from Mississippi State University with a certificate in Broadcast Meteorology.
Adam has 3 siblings spread across the country from Florida to Massachusetts. He also has an adorable 3-year-old named Blake, who he loves spending all his free time with exploring everything that Utah has to offer, along with his girlfriend Sheila, and her kids.
