Hit/miss thunderstorms over the state early Wednesday night will be mainly in the mountains. However, lightning and gusty winds associated with these storms will lend toward high danger. There will be less coverage to the thunderstorms Thursday, but the warmth continues. A strong cold front arriving Friday will trigger showers and thunderstorms over the northern two-thirds of the state, including valleys. Sunshine returns this weekend. Stay safe, and enjoy!
