One of the hottest days of the year so far along the Wasatch Front with a combination of strong gusty winds and low humidity created extremely high fire danger for 75-80% of Utah today and will continue into tomorrow. It is important to be aware of your surroundings and be careful of anything the creates heat or may spark a fire. Temperatures will take a nosedive into the low 80's by noon tomorrow and even into the upper 70's by late in the afternoon after our next dry cold front arrives late tonight and early tomorrow morning for the Northern Wasatch. This front will reach the Central part of the state during the afternoon hours tomorrow and then weaken before reaching Southern Utah. Salt Lake City will likely hit its high temperature around noon time ahead f the front by winds will remain gusty before and after the front passes. Not much in the way for precipitation with this latest cold front besides a passing dry lightning storm over the Uintas and even less likely over the Wasatch Mountains. The rest of the week will stay on the cooler side heading into the first day of summer before temperatures quickly heat back up by Sunday.
