My friend and I went up Butler Fork Trail toward Gobbler's Knob Tuesday evening, September 25th, right after the rainstorm. The fog made for a beautiful backdrop of the picturesque fall colors. You can see the fog whisping through the canyon in this picture. We were the only ones on the hike, and the silence of the mountains was penetrating that evening. It made for one of the best hikes I have ever been on.
