SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Sports) - Former Utah Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan is one of three finalists for the Charlotte Bobcats head coaching job, according to a
report on ESPN.com.
Sloan, who interviewed with Bobcats owner Michael Jordan last month, resigned from the Jazz after 23 seasons in February of 2011.
Indiana Pacers assistant coach Brian Shaw and Los Angeles Lakers assistant Quin Synder are the other two finalists, according to the report. Sloan, who was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009, is the only candidate with head coaching experience.
