SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Sports) - Former Utah Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan has turned down another team.
Sloan interviewed for the Portland Trailblazers job with general manager Neil Olshey on Wednesday, was reportedly offered the job, but Sloan turned him down on Thursday.
Sloan interviewed for the Charlotte Bobcats job in May, but later withdrew his name from consideration.
Sloan, 70, resigned from the Jazz after 23 seasons in February, 2011, but has expressed interest in returning to the game.
Sloan is 3rd on the all-time coaching wins list with 1,221 victories.
