CHICAGO (ABC 4 Sports) - Sorry BYU fans, Jabari Parker is headed to Duke.
The top high school basketball prospect in the country, Parker, who is Mormon, picked Duke over BYU, Stanford, Michigan State and Florida.
Parker made the announcement on national television at Chicago's Simeon Career Academy.
Parker can't sign his letter of intent until April 17, but he made his intentions clear with one highly anticipated oral commitment.
Parker named BYU as one his top-5 final schools, but he chose to play for Mike Krzyzewski for at least a year before making what many believe will ultimately be a jump to the NBA.
