It was a game Utah State fans will never forget. It was a moment Aggie players will savor forever.

Utah State beat Utah.

Mighty Utah. The Pac-12's Utah. The big kid on the block, Utah. The school that didn't have any future plans to visit Logan. Now we know why.

Gary Andersen outcoached Kyle Whittingham. Chuckie Keeton outplayed Jordan Wynn, Jon Hays and Travis Wilson combined. Utah State's front seven dominated Utah's offensive line. This wasn't a fluke. The better team won.

After suffering so many heartbreaking losses last year, the Aggies may have finally discovered what it takes to win big games. After surrendering a 13-0 lead, they could have folded like they did last season against the likes of Auburn and BYU.

But they didn't. This team has learned how to close games, and Andersen has instilled a winning attitude in Logan.

Now the question is, how will they build on this monumental victory? Another huge challenge at Wisconsin awaits, but the Badgers are definitely beatable, having barely defeated Northern Iowa and having just lost to an average Oregon State team.

After that, it's Colorado State, UNLV and BYU. Then, it's on to an extremely winnable WAC schedule.

It may be time to dream big, Aggie fans. A 10-win season is within reach. That is pretty amazing, seeing how just five years ago, this team won exactly two games.

But if Keeton stays healthy, and if the defense keeps making plays, this Utah State team could in for one special season.

"How about that!" Andersen shouted after the game. "The Aggies are back.''

They sure are, and in a big way.
