PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 Sports) - BYU quarterback Taysom Hill injured his knee in the final minute of the Cougars 6-3 victory over Utah State Friday night. He may require surgery and be forced to miss the remainder of the season.

BYU sports information director Brett Pyne released a statement saying, "The extent of the injury and related status is currently being evaluated. Any updates will be provided Monday."

Hill did not mention anything about an injury during his post-game press conference.

Head coach Bronco Mendenhall said Riley Nelson will start at quarterback whenever he is healthy. It appears Nelson will have to play Saturday against #10 Oregon State whether he is 100 percent or not.

Hill finished the game against the Aggies with 235 yards passing and 80 yards rushing on 19 carries.
