Berea, OH (Sports Network) - Cleveland Browns team employee Eric Eucker committed suicide at the team's practice facility on Saturday.

"This is a terrible tragedy and our heartfelt condolences go out to Eric's family," the Browns said in a statement. "Eric was a good friend and colleague, and an outstanding employee. He will be missed by everyone in the Cleveland Browns organization."

The suicide came on the same day that Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher took his own life in front of his head coach and general manager at the team's facility after fatally shooting his girlfriend.
