Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - The Buffalo Bills placed tight end Scott Chandler on injured reserve on Monday with a serious, but undisclosed knee injury.

Chandler suffered the injury after making his only catch -- a 25-yard reception -- in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins.

"Scott doesn't look good at all," said Bills head coach Chan Gailey in his postgame press conference. "It's a knee."

Over 15 games this season, Chandler posted career highs with 43 catches for 571 yards and also tied a career-high with six touchdowns.
