New York, NY (Sports Network) - Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, St. Louis Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins and Seattle Seahawks kick returner/punt returner Leon Washington were recognized as the NFC's top Week 12 performers.

Newton completed 18-of-28 passes for 306 yards with two touchdowns for a 125 passer rating in Carolina's 30-22 win at Philadelphia to earn the offensive award. He also rushed for a team-best 52 yards and two touchdowns.

Jenkins received defensive honors by returning two interceptions for touchdowns in the Rams' 31-17 win at Arizona. He is the first player in franchise history to return two interceptions for a touchdown in a regular season game.

Washington returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown in the Seahawks' 24-21 loss at Miami to take home the special teams award. It marked Washington's eighth career kickoff return for a touchdown, tying him with Josh Cribbs for the most in NFL history.
