Metairie, LA (Sports Network) - The New Orleans Saints have placed running back Pierre Thomas on injured reserve and signed cornerback A.J. Davis from the practice squad.
A knee injury will prohibit Thomas from playing in the season's final game on Sunday when the Saints host the Carolina Panthers.
Thomas rushed for 473 yards and one touchdown on 105 carries in 15 games. He also caught 39 passes for 354 yards and another score.
