Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will play in Tuesday's season opener against the Dallas Mavericks after being sidelined with a strained right foot.
He confirmed the news on his Facebook page: "Feeling good enough to play tonight!"
The 14-time All Star suffered the injury on Oct. 21 against the Sacramento Kings and missed the team's last two preseason games.
The Lakers went 0-8 during exhibition play.
