New York, NY (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Clippers' Vinny Del Negro and Atlanta Hawks' Larry Drew were named the NBA's Coaches of the Month for games played in December.
Del Negro led the Clippers to a perfect 16-0 mark in December, but the franchise-best 17-game winning streak came to a halt Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets.
Drew guided the Hawks to a 10-5 record and a 4-3 mark on the road. Atlanta shot 45.6 percent from the field and 38.4 percent from 3-point range.
