Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard returned to the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Boston Celtics.

Howard underwent platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy in Los Angeles last Saturday and had missed three games with a torn right labrum.

Prior to Thursday's meeting, the All-Star center had logged 16.5 points and 11.9 rebounds per game, his lowest averages since his 2004-05 rookie season.
