Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Tigers have declined to tender a contract offer to pitcher Daniel Schlereth for the 2013 season.

Schlereth appeared in just six games last season before going on the disabled list April 21 with left shoulder tendinitis. He had an earned run average of 10.29 in seven big league innings and also saw action on a rehab assignment in the minors.

The left-hander has a record of 4-2 with a 3.98 ERA in 73 games over three seasons with the Tigers.
