PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Provo police are searching for a man they say raped a woman who was jogging along the Provo River Parkway Trail. Investigators say it happened around 9pm Monday night.

A 20-year old victim was jogging alone on the trail when a man with a knife jumped out and dragged her off of the trail, and sexually assaulted her.

Police are looking for a White or Hispanic man, about 6-1, who weighs about 180 or 190 pounds. He is described as wearing black shoes, black sweatpants, and a black sweatshirt.

Everytime I hear about this my stomach churns and my heart breaks for the victims of the horrendous act of violence. I carry a Tiger Light T100 with me EVERYWHERE. It is proven to be the most effect non lethal weapon and pepper spray in the world. It is a flashlight with extremely effective cone pepper spray (not like some that just spray a dinky line). It also has a hand strap so if you are running, it stays on well. It gives you a light and no one even know you have a weapon (pepper spray) in your hand. Every women NEEDS to have one of these. Unfortunetely it is to much of a risk to not have some protection with you wherever you go. I am very sorry to hear of this awful, horrible, tragedy to happen again.
