WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - One teen is in custody and another was flown to the hospital after a stabbing in West Valley City.
Police say the teenagers were friends.
Witnesses told police the 15-year-old victim had been having problems with some other teens, and got angry when 18-year-old Brandon Rainy told him they were going to "beat up" the victim.
The victim allegedly started punching Rainy, who police say pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.
Police are waiting to talk to the victim before filing any charges.
