SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (ABC4 News)  The Utah State Health Department reports that most health districts offering swine flu vaccinations are out or quickly running out of the vaccine.  The good news is that more is on the way.  The nation is divided into 57 "project" areas by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and each week the CDC determines how much vaccine each area receives.  Then, every Wednesday the health districts can order the vaccine from the CDC.  The vaccine ordered last Wednesday should be arriving in Utah tonight or tomorrow and that will replenish supplies in the major districts.

As of this writing, the Salt Lake Valley Health Department is out of the flu mist but has a limited supply of vaccine injections.  The Weber-Morgan District is completely out of all kinds of vaccine, but is expecting that shipment tonight.  Utah County got its' delivery last Friday, but after giving out thousands of doses today is now looking at another week before more arrives.  Tommorrow morning in Davis County the remaining 1400 doses of vaccine will be given out at a mass clinic starting at 10 at the Davis County Conference Center.

State health officials say there is nothing to prevent people from crossing district lines to get vaccinated, however they reccommend that you stay in your district and wait for supplies to increase.
