OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A man is rushed to the hospital late Thursday after being shot while standing on his porch.

Police say the man was shot in the leg, but shotgun pellets also hit him in the arm and chest. The shooting happened just before midnight near the intersection of Monroe and 20th Street in Ogden.

Investigators say the victim was standing on a front porch of a home shared by two families. Two shots were fired, one hitting the victim who was taken to the hospital by family members, and the second shot struck the front of the house. Police say the wounds are not life threatening.

Police say the shooter got away, but investigators have a good idea who he is and plan on tracking him down Friday. Investigators say the shooter is a known gang member.
