For a quick weekend getaway to the North, Ogden Valley is a good choice.
The valley is nestled in the midst of Pineview reservoir, Huntsville, Eden and Liberty.
At the wolf creek resort, a 3 room suite will set you back about $295 a night.
You can rent boats to take out on the water like we did from All Seasons Rentals in Lehi. We spent all day Saturday on the water at the reservoir creating memories. We also got some gear from Club Rec North.
And to cap off the night, we enjoyed the symphony under the stars at Wolf Mountain.
Ogden Valley also serves as a base for exploring the wonderful recreational opportunities in the Wasatch Mountains.
During the summer months there's an abundance of great hiking and mountain biking trails and in the winter there’s no shortage of snowy day activities.
From Salt Lake, it only takes about an hour to get to Ogden Valley.
If you go next month, you’ll be able to catch Ogden Valley Ballon Festival. It runs from August 14th to 16th.
