SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - It wasn't your typical soccer game at the University of Utah on Friday as robots took the place of players.

Over 1,000 high schoolers from Utah and surrounding states came to the U for the three day competition.
Organizers of the event say the main goal of the competition was to help students see that engineering, math, and science can be fun.

The competition was made up of 33 teams, each with 30 students, who have been working on building the robots since January.
