SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The Utah Girl Scouts say no Lemon Chalet Creme cookies that are involved in a recent voluntary recall came to Utah.
Last week the company that makes the Lemon Chalet Creme cookies said it had received reports of a foul smell and taste in some of the boxes of cookies.  The company traced it back to a breakdown of oils in the cookies.  They are safe to eat, but the company says the cookies were not up to quality standards.
With none of the cookies delivered to Utah, all deliveries of all kinds of cookies are being made starting this week.
Girl Scouts of Utah says that its per-girl average is the highest in the whole country.  That's 285 boxes of cookies per Girl Scout.
All money from the cookie program stays in Utah and goes towards Girl Scouts programs.
