SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Mayor Ralph Becker has picked a new location for the public safety complex he wants built and wants people to vote on it.

Today the Mayor recommended the city council put a $125-million bond on the November ballot.

Becker now wants to put the building on what's known as the Barnes Bank Block. It's near 400 South and 300 East.

The city council is holding a public hearing on the plan this coming Tuesday at 7 pm. After that, they'll decide whether to put the plan on the ballot.
