LINDON, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Fire destroyed a Lindon business and closed down State Street from 400 to 700 North for the majority of the day on Tuesday.

Patch's Majestic Metals is a charred heap of rubble sitting about 15 feet high next to State Street.

Bob Patch operated his business from 475 North State Street in Lindon for 31 years.  He constructed custom made steel and iron gates for homes in Utah County and the surrounding areas.  The fire displaced 12 employees.

Patch says investigators are likely going to ruled out arson.  Investigators are telling Patch the fire started in the center of the business, but the cause was unknown when this story was posted online.

Patch's Majestic Metal is fully covered by insurance.  Patch has not decided if he'll rebuild or close his business.
