Female officers recruiting at Women's Show

SANDY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Women are playing a bigger role in Utah's police force, but some say it's not enough. So female officers from 12 Utah police agencies came together today at the Women's Show in the South Towne Expo Center. They say women play a crucial role in the community. "Your police department should reflect your community," said Robin Snyder of the Salt Lake Police Department. "That helps with communication. That includes women, that includes minorities. We're always looking for women and minorities to join our police department." The female officers will be there tomorrow as well trying to recruit more women to the force.
