Extreme Makeover Home Edition to hold benefit concert

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Extreme Makeover Home Edition needs your help to make life easier for a special Utah family. You probably know the show is in town building a new home for the family in South Jordan, but you may not realize they’re also helping with a benefit concert.

The concert starts Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Herriman High School, doors open at 6:00 p.m. The goal is to raise money to help ease the burdens of the Gomez family. Jonah Gomez, 7 years old, needs a bone marrow transplant and requires constant medical care.

EMHE Designers Michael Moloney and Paige Hemmis will both be there. Celebrities performing at the concert include David Osmond, Thurl Bailey, and Alex Boye. Jason Hewlett will MC the event.
