Salt Lake City, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Business is Booming in the Beehive State; in the past year, more than 4,000 jobs have been created and nearly two dozen businesses have relocated to Utah. Why you may be wondering, lots of reason according Jeff Edwards from State's Economic Development Corporation.
"There are several reasons why companies come to Utah," Edwards told ABC4 news on Wednesday. "We have a great advantage of having a young, educated workforce," Edwards said and continued, "Utah has a great advantage of having a well trained, great young workforce and the State is very stable in a chaotic national environment."
Edwards says in the past year thousands of jobs have been added, new companies and expects more for 2011. Another advantage the CEO told ABC4 news is that the state gives tax incentives for companies to move here and gives tax breaks to keep companies here as well.
