Hobby Lobby Finds Loophole To Avoid Daily Fine Of 1.3M

Facing daily fines of $1.3 million for refusing to provide employees with health coverage for emergency contraception, the chain has now found a loophole in U.S. federal law which will allow them several more months before they have to pay a dime to Uncle Sam.

They are not talking about the pre-contraceptive........its the pill that you take after the fact. They are still going to cover the typical birth control. I am not a believer in god, but i feel strongly that you should have to pay for this pill yourself if that is the choice you are going to makw. Of course that doesnt include rape or in sitiations where giving birth would harm the mother. I think that David Green is one of the most gracious people. He has given so much to the company and its employees and i wish more people would do the same. I commend him for standing next to his beliefs as well.

Hobby Lobby's owners are opposed to the "morning after" pill as they consider it an abortive agent (by preventing fertilized egg implantation) and against their religious beliefs. Additionally, I don't know if they are Catholic be if they were then they would also have a legitimate claim that being forced to cover contraception violates their 1st Amendment rights.
