BOISE, Idaho (AP) - A Utah State football player and a former player were arrested in Boise after the Aggies' bowl victory on Saturday.

Junior lineman Sini Tauauvea of West Valley City, Utah, was booked into the Ada County jail at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday for misdemeanor battery and trespassing. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7.

Former Aggies player Caleb Mandale Taylor, who was a senior in 2008, also was arrested for misdemeanor battery. Both men were out of jail by Monday evening.

Details of the arrests were not immediately available.

Utah State defeated the Toledo Rockets 41-15 Saturday afternoon in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl at Bronco Stadium.
