SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A United Airlines jet made an emergency landing at Salt Lake City International Airport on Wednesday after the aircraft sustained a cracked windscreen, officials said.

The aircraft, headed from Houston to Portland, OR, had more than 170 passengers aboard. No injuries were reported.

It was not immediately known what cracked the aircraft's windscreen.

The flight made a successful landing and passengers were rerouted to other flights while mechanics inspected the plane and began the necessary repairs.
