US Bank branch robbed, Police seek suspect

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) – Salt Lake City Police are hoping the public can identify and locate the suspect that robbed a U.S. Bank branch.

The man walked into the branch at 1575 S. Main Street around 4pm Tuesday.

He approached a teller and demanded cash, he implied that he had a weapon.

The teller complied and the suspect left on foot.

The suspect is described as an adult male. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a plaid coat with a gray hood, a green ball cap, black sunglasses, black gloves and blue jeans.

If anyone knows this man, you are asked to call the Salt Lake City Police Department at 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by texting TIPSLCPD plus information to CRIMES (274637).

How come the branch bank manager can't approach the robber and get the drop on him, with a weapon-pistol!?
