Suspicious package found at SL Int'l Airport

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) - There was a hazmat situation at Salt Lake International airport.

Early Monday morning, an airport employee found a suspicious package inside a secure area. That area of the airport was cleared of passengers.

Emergency crews responded and reported that the package is not harmful.

The scene was cleared and flights resumed on schedule.
