SANDY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say nine bronze sculptures were stolen from a Sandy park over the weekend.

Police say the thieves made off with nine life-size bronze sculptures of children playing from the Hill Gallery and Sculpture Park at 9045 South 1300 East.

Police estimated the the value of those sculptures at more than $70,000.

The gallery's owner Dan Hill released pictures of the sculptures, in hopes of getting help from the public in recovering them before they are cut up and sold as scrap.

Anyone with information about the thefts was asked to call Hill or the Sandy City Police Department.
