ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO (ABC 4 News) - Skydiver and daredevil Felix Baumgartner accomplished the dive from a space capsule back down to Earth -- that's 120,000 feet, and he did it in less than 10 minutes, landing safely near Roswell, New Mexico.

He previously attempted the feat Tuesday, but high winds forced him to bow out. Red Bull is financing the mission, naming it "Stratos".

It was a very dangerous jump, but Baumgartner knew the risk and took necessary safety precautions. The mission has been five years in the making and was an incredible sight to see.
