SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) -  Police received concerns about a cement strip found during a search for Susan Powell in the West Desert.

Police have received several tips on potential clues to Susan's disappearance since December, but a body sized pouring of cement has some people wondering.

Linda Osbourne has been searching for clues of Susan's disappearance. She was out looking in the West Desert on February 16 when she found a concrete slab that measured to be about 7 feet long and 3 feet wide. She suspected the pouring could be covering a body.

Osbourne contacted West Valley City Police and the Tooele County Sheriff's Office in February. However, no one followed up on her findings at that time.

Friday, the Tooele County Sheriff's department sent a deputy out to locate and investigate the slab. At this time, investigators do not believe the cement strip is suspicious. However, they might be going back out soon to further investigate.

Currently Josh Powell, Susan's husband, remains the only person of interest in the case.

A volunteer ground search effort is scheduled for April 10 in the Simpson Spring Area.

I am all for finding Susan..believe me but this woman who reported the concrete pile is a FF short of a happy meal and so is the blogger who is calling up the law enforcement agencies. They are going to eat crow. The worse part of it though is the Police will not take tips seriously due to this dramatic behavior. Kinda like the boy who called wolf.
