SANDY, Utah (ABC 4 NEWS) - A cafeteria worker at Eastmont Middle School in Sandy is accused of serving up more than just lunch. Police said 41-year old Jamie Lynn Greenwood admitted to having a nine month affair with a teen.

The Canyons School District has asked Greenwood not to return to Eastmont Middle School until they complete their own investigation.

Cops said she admitted to having sex with the minor who is now 16 years old.

Parents and students are shocked. But rumors of the relationship have been flying around at the victims school for a while which is why an administrator called police.

Investigators say Greenwood met the victim a year ago. The boys is actually one of her son's friends.

Detectives say she admitted to beginning a nine month sexual relationship with the young teen.

But it gets worse, according to the probable cause statement the victim said he was bribed with gifts and threatened by Greenwood that if he refused to engage in sexual behavior, she would tell his mother what was going on.

We spoke with the suspects mom. She told ABC 4 News she can't believe her daughter would be capable of doing anything like this.

Jamie Lynn Greenwood has bonded out of jail.

The District Attorney's Office is expected to file charges against her on Wednesday. The school district placed her on paid administrative leave.

As a lunch manager myself I'm disgusted. And I can't figure out why she is getting paid. The woman admitted to it. She should have been fired on the spot. I have no sympathy for her. As a mother and lady I can't not say what I would do to her, but it would not be pay her.

Are you kidding me??? She's being PAID? while the investigation occurs. She admitted to the crime? What's there to investigate? As a parent of a student at Eastmont, I am appalled that the school district has to even think about this one.
