SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - He may not have the physical stature of most people who appear in Sports Illustrated, but this month, Senator Orrin Hatch has a column in the sports magazine.
The column’s release comes as Senators prepare for next week's hearing on the BCS.
Hatch called for that hearing, and in his SI article, he calls the BCS "arcane" and "biased," and says that the system intentionally favors certain teams.
He says it's up to Congress to make sure the BCS is fair.
