EM Used to be named 'Payton Place'. It has always had one scandal after another. It is so obvious utilities are being hiked to correct someones BS as well as hip pocket. Most remember when the EM news rag said, right out in print, prices were being raised to compensate for horrible mismanagement and inappropriate applications conducted by the City Accountant. (So that translates to we had to make up the shortfall). Walton has always been a whack-job joke and a narcissistic overlord, so he thinks. Delusions of adequacy. Every time you complain about your bill the trained response is "Oh we read it (the meters) ourselves. Would you like us to re read it?" Chicanery to the max folks. YOU're getting screwed every month. $43 a month for sewer privileges????????????? Gimme a small break. Every time we have left for a month (winter or summer our bill has been the same or even higher. Imagine that.

The latest excuse from the Eagle Mountain officials was that the meter reader had "malfunctioned" so they had to guesstimate on the meters it didn't read. Nicely played....except you got caught.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. You don't have to scratch to deep to see the corruption that is going on out there. From inflated salaries, to missing millions of dollars, to trips to vegas for the Mayor and associates with the bill being payed by tax payers funds. I hope it all comes out, and those who have been scamming the good people of Eagle Mountain get theirs. http://eagleshare.org/EM-utility-scandal.pdf
