MIDVALE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Unified Police are investigating a homicide in Midvale early Sunday morning.
According to Justin Hoyle of Unified Police, 31-year-old Justen Lefave was shot at his apartment around 5:30 Sunday morning.
Officials say Lefave had received a knock at his door at the Wasatch Club Apartments, and after opening the door had a conversation with the suspect, who then shot Lefave and fled.
Lefave was transported to the hospital in extremely critical condition, and passed away a short time later.
Hoyle said the suspect is described as a bald Caucasian male with no facial hair, tattoos, and of heavy build. The suspect was seen with two females, and was seen fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed in a tan GMC Yukon with chrome rims and tinted windows.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect's description to call UPD at 801-743-7000. The public is reminded they should not confront the suspect as he is considered armed and dangerous.
