WEST JORDAN, Utah - Police have arrested three suspects in connection with a Thursday night shooting at Taco Time in West Jordan that left a woman in critical condition.
At about 9:30 p.m, West Jordan police said a 35-year-old woman, working at the fast food restaurant, located near 9060 South and 2700 West, went with another employee to investigate a loud banging noise on the back door.
When the two employees opened the door, police say one person fired a gun, hitting the woman in the chest. The other employee was not injured.
The woman who was shot was flown to Intermountain Medical Center, where she remains in critical condition.
About an hour later, police arrested two of the suspects near the Taco Time. They are both charged with aggravated robbery.
They allegedly helped police locate a third suspect, who police arrested in Murray near 6640 South and 700 West.
The District Attorney's office is screening charges against that suspect.
A probable cause statement says 22-year-old Emilio Guzman admitted to robbing the Taco Time, but that the gun "went off accidentally."
The other suspect was identified as 21-year-old Sherry Moreno.
The third suspect was not identified as of late Friday morning as Police continued questioning him.
