Police arrest accused serial bank robber

WEST VALLEY, Utah (ABC 4 News) – An alleged serial bank robber was arrested Saturday afternoon from a home at 1618 Shelley Avenue in West Valley.

A person who witnessed a US Bank robbery at 4135 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville followed the suspect to the address Shelley Avenue addressand called police.

The suspect is accused of robbing four banks in two days.

Below is a list of the bank robberies:

Friday – 10:05 a.m.
First Utah Bank
4900 W 3500 S
West Valley City

Friday – 1:30 p.m.
Zion’s Bank
8375 W 3500 S
Magna

Saturday – 10:01 a.m.
America First Credit Union
4976 W 3500 S
West Valley

Saturday – after 1:00 p.m.
US Bank
4135 S Redwood Road
Taylorsville

The suspect is accused of asking for cash at each of the robberies without presenting a gun.

Police arrested two other men and a woman along with the suspect.
