Police: South Salt Lake mother stabbed by daughter

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say a teen girl stabbed her mother in South Salt Lake Tuesday evening.

According to police, the stabbing occurred at 344 East Lambourne Avenue (3155 South).

Officers say the teen stabbed her mother at least 3 times in the chest.

Police say the mother was conscious and talking to officer and emergency personnel as her daughter was taken into custody.
